Rattus

11th November

It’s a bit of a comedown, perhaps, after the thrills of Kirindy, but every new mammal is welcome and I happen to be a big fan of rats. Black rats are especially sweet and I’m sure they never meant any harm by whole plague thing.

My lemur tour group has arrived and we are in Antsirabe, en route to the wet forests of Ranomafana in the hope of seeing its rare and beautiful inhabitants.
