Flowers in a Bornean garden

Most of these flowers I know from my many years in the tropics. Others I do not. Today it is enough for them to be flowers in a Bornean garden without the need for names. My grandmother, were she still with us, would have loved them (though she could never understand why I wanted to leave Norfolk). They are for her.

This one deserves explanation: newspaper covers for individual ripening
mangoes. Such love!

Finally, one of the world's most remarkable flowers:
Rafflesia honoured on a Malaysian bank note
