Today,
having come by boat from Anakao, we wait for five hours in Tulear. Nothing for
it: on a whim Air Madagascar rescheduled our morning flight for the evening. It
is hot but we are in the shade. My clients are drinking beer and in the hotel
garden’s palms is another new species of Phelsuma
day gecko. Life could be worse.
New today in Toliara

Madagascar sounds amazing. I thought of you today when we had a talk on dragonflies by this guy: http://science.naturalis.nl/dijkstra (who seems to be a total dragonfly legend) and he said that Madagascar had the combination of the highest levels of endemism and the least amount of information on dragonflies anywhere in the world.
